Husband against Wife, Man against Woman, North American against European – we have it all. I mean, seriously, what better way to spice up your marriage than a healthy fight to the death?
Who are we? Let me introduce us:
Gabriel – Torontonian, Sax Player, Hypnotist, Hypnotherapist, Board Member – IAPCH.
Nilima – German-born Torontonian-by-choice, Singer-Songwriter, Hypnotist, Hypnotherapist, Board Member – IAPCH.
Our Mission: Share the gift of hypnosis.
Or less flowery: Show you some cool things your mind can do and show you to harness that power.
Why: First of all, hypnosis is part of every day life. But hardly anybody knows that! Which is a pity because we go through different kinds of trances every day. Advertising, Media, Friends and Family, and anything we do puts us all in different states of mind to free up thinking space in our brains for the things that are important. Most people don’t realize this. Chances are YOU didn’t even know this – At least not consciously 
So we thought to ourselves: “Why not go out into the world and give people the experience of hypnosis?” And something or someone inside of our heads answered: “Ya – why not?” Apart from that we always wanted to go out and do street hypnosis. We’re hypnotherapists so we usually work one on one, in an office. And last but not least we think that it’s gonna be hugely entertaining. Not only for us, but also for you guys out there!
Now some of you might say: Why not just go out and do street hypnosis, what’s the “bet” aspect all about?
The answer: It’s more fun that way. Gabriel can kick Nilima’s butt and you can root for him to win. Or you can cheer her on (c’mon, feminists!) and laugh at his measly numbers. Makes things juicier, doesn’t it?
THE BET: 100 days, as many people as possible. Whoever has hypnotized more, WINS THE BET. Now of course there has to be proof so we’re gonna videotape every single hypnotic interaction. What happens to the loser? YOU DECIDE.
Your job: Pick a side. Vote for the next location here on the bet.ca. If you want – come and watch us. We’re gonna announce exactly where we’re gonna be and when. OR invite one or both of us to come to your workplace/house party/subway station because YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE HYPNOSIS. Enjoy. Oh, and spread the word. Because – the more the merrier:-).
